Love Day 26

This month of mantra and meditation on love has been a journey in itself. With 3 days to go and nothing surfacing as the theme of today, I will just write some of my thoughts.

Love is so much more than romantic love, which on Love is Chemical (Day 13) blog is further explained. The romantic part is exciting, but as I've always said, the foundation has to be much stronger than that. Everyone who loves you will likely also disappoint you greatly one or more times.  Relationship type love requires that you work through that or make some space and give some time and see if the love is still there when the hurt is healed.

Commitment is part of long term love. You've got to decide that you won't be distracted by someone else who shows you attention or something else that becomes a priority. Everything needs to feed the relationship and what you're building and continuously shaping since, like everything, love is not static. Love moves and changes and flows like tides.  Feed it with goals, experiences, and kisses. Feed it also by allowing your significant other his or her own interests, friends, and experiences. You will each be more interesting and sexy and add to the relationship by pursuing things on your own or with friends.  Home is always sweeter when you go away, refresh and then come back. Love can be like that too.

Love is when you feel like you're missing a limb if he or she is gone for long.

Love is when you'll give up or give in to be together because it's the most important thing.

Love has the power to change your whole way of thinking.

Love is physical, chemical, metaphysical and of the soul.

Love occupies the heart, the gut, and the brain, all.

Love is definitely surrender and certainly not pride or ego.

Love is not to be thrown away without regard or wasted carelessly.

Love can be recycled.

I hope you find something here that inspires you to work at it, stay with it, or recognize it. This love month of blogs is for all of us.
