Zodiac Yoga at Satya Sanctuary Portland, Maine

This is my end of June and July schedule. One workshop may be added for late in the month so check back.

Join me Saturdays June 29th, July 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th at 12 to 1:15 pm at 578 Congress Street. Satya Sanctuary opened in May and I really love the space. It's upstairs from Strange Maine across from the Forest Ave intersection. Come a few minutes early to sign in! Zodiac Yoga for the week's Moon, Sun and planetary aspects. Yoga and insight for your week all in one!

July 7th a full workshop events with two sets of yoga for all 12 signs, 2 postures each, and gallery style readings at Satya, a very intimate space. I have room for 10 maximum so register now!

Time: 6:00-8:30 pm

I finally went to my first "Real" yoga class on Sat. I had only done it before on dvd's and yes VHS. I hated it. So many people that I know rave about yoga. So I put all of the yard work aside (felt bad about that for a hot minute), and decided to do something for me. I was invited by the instructor and really felt that this was my chance to try it out. I was a little nervous because the dvd I have is really hard. I knew that if I attended a real class I would know whether I loved it or hated it. I LOVE IT. I never expected the meditative side of yoga. It was just what I needed. And bonus, I handled each position well. I surprised myself. One more thing, I felt like I was 80 years old on Sunday. I was introduced to muscles I never knew I had. I am so going next Sat. Hopefully, next Sunday, I will feel like I'm 70. This is the best kept secret out there. I know, I know, my friends have tried to tell me all along. Well, I finally did it. Michelle
