Two Weeks Notice

Condensing a six or seven month story that started 18 years or so ago into one cohesive blog isn’t easy to think about. I’ve known for a long time that I would be writing this. The Moon is Full, the pieces have fallen together and the time has come.

On August 2, 2013 I will do my final radio show on WCYY. For 13 years I’ve been doing alternative mornings and Robin’s Zodiac Zone and for 18 years I’ve been broadcasting there, the last original dj in the lineup.  Interestingly, we went on the air as WCYY on July 28th, 1995 and our birthday week is also my last week, 18 years later.  It’s like going away to college at age 18. It totally feels like that last summer before you go away to school.  

Why am I leaving? Very important question and answer.  Interestingly, this also goes back to 1995 and the first year of WCYY.

The End of Mercury Retrograde & July Yoga

Hello everyone! Hope your summer is going great! We all get on different schedules and out of routine and Mercury retrograde has been adding to the effect all month. I do want to commend my regulars for their commitment to RoZoYo classes on Saturdays. Commitment is key when you want to make a change or feel the full benefit of what you're doing.  Buddying up in one way to commit since then you follow through for a friend even when you might change your own plan and skip class in favor of...sleep, beach, or nothing much.

Michelle, Darcy, Lita, and Jen, I've seen your commitment to yoga grow and it makes me smile! Seeing you move from a class or workshop with me to exploring other studios and home practice is you committing to yourself, becoming braver or more confident and open. Plus I can see the physical practice taking shape in the way you approach it.  It's just GREAT!
