Yoga Sessions & Consultations at Robin's Nest

I'm offering phone consultations as well as private sessions. Phone consultations can help you start a home practice or become more knowledgable about how to use yoga to maximize your energy and health.  You might benefit from a phone consult if you're already practicing some yoga and have some prior knowledge. Otherwise a few private sessions will be more beneficial.

All private sessions are $80 for one hour in person or by phone. Phone consults can be done in 30 minutes for $45
Private sessions are discounted if you book 3 or more.
Daytime hours are available on Monday, Thursday & Friday.

About private yoga sessions?

1.) A personal introduction to yoga can help you learn the different styles and prep you for your first experience in a bigger studio. For example,  you may want to learn the Salutations and postures you'll practice in a vinyasa class which is more vigorous, or you may want to decide between yin and restorative yoga classes and experience a bit of each to know the difference. 

2.) When healing from injury, illness or a down time in life, individual yoga sessions can help you center and rediscover yourself. A private session at Robin's Nest is guided by you, and I will let your session unfold using body awareness and alignment for a healthy practice along with intuition that may lead to sound healing. I use Solfreggio tuning forks and also have a few musical instruments laying around the studio. We've been known to end a session shaking tambourines or following up with an archetype or tarot card for insight and a thought to consider. 

3.) I trained with Pranakriya School of Yoga and Healing Arts in Prenatal Yoga and Functional Anatomy and Therapeutic Yoga. I can help you with safe and proper alignment to enhance any yoga you're already practicing. Modify your practice with me. You'll go back to the studio or your home practice with new awareness and things to "work" on. 

4.) Learn to meditate. Meditation is a completely personal practice most often done individually at home. Private yoga sessions centered on breathing and meditation will get you started. 

5.) You're going through something in life. A private session can be a reading, healing and yoga combined. 

What is the atmosphere?

Robin's Nest is a boutique studio in my home. It's designed for 4-6 people with props, mats, soft lighting, a wood floor, long windows, plants, and healing tools. I have two medium size dogs (border collie mix and whippet mix) who like to say hello, but they are closed in another room during your sessions. If you don't feel comfortable around dogs, you will never see them. 

Tea or water are provided.
